Property Purchase & Due Diligence

We check the property and the contract before you sign or wire money.

Most of the property disputes we litigate started with a purchase that was never properly reviewed. Legal due diligence —checking the property before you buy— exists to prevent exactly that: confirming the seller really owns it, that it is free of liens, and that the contract protects you and not just the other side. We handle purchases and sales end to end, including for buyers and sellers living in the United States.

When this applies

  • You are buying property in Mexico and want to confirm ownership and that it is free of liens.
  • You are asked to sign a promise-to-purchase agreement or wire a deposit before anything is verified.
  • You are selling a property in Mexico and need a contract that protects you and a clean closing.
  • You already bought and problems appeared with the property, the seller or the paperwork.
