Title Deeds & Regularization

Your property in Mexico, with a proper deed in your name.

In Mexico, the escritura pública —the notarized title deed, registered with the Public Registry of Property— is the document that proves who owns a property. Without it, or with a deed still in someone else's name, the property cannot be safely sold, inherited or defended. We regularize and deed properties for clients in Mexico and in the United States: from the house bought years ago with a private contract to the family home that was never transferred, choosing the right route so the property ends up in your name.

When this applies

  • Your property in Mexico has no deed, or all you have is a private purchase contract.
  • You inherited a house in Mexico and the deed is still in the deceased relative's name.
  • The deed has errors, or the property is still in the name of a relative or the previous owner.
  • You live in the U.S. and want to sell or put in order a property you own in Mexico.

The process, step by step

  1. Consultation & document review

We analyze whatever documents you have —contracts, receipts, old deeds— and the property's status at the Public Registry.

  2. Regularization route

We define the correct path for your case, which may be notarial or judicial depending on how the property was acquired.

  3. Processing & coordination

We handle the proceeding, the coordination with the notary and the filings before the Public Registry.

  4. Registered deed

The process ends when the deed is signed and registered — the property, in your name and in good legal standing.
